Dr. Scott Sloan

Dr. Scott Sloan grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he enjoyed building and flying remote control airplanes. He knew he wanted to continue building and creating with his hands while also helping people as much as possible in the medical field. A career in dentistry was the perfect fit.

Dr. Sloan earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Virginia University, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He is board certified to practice dentistry in the state of Missouri.

Dr. Sloan and his wife Linnea enjoy hiking with their two dogs Louis and Emmie and hanging out with their cat Max and pet bunny Oreo. Dr. Sloan met his wife volunteering at community healthcare clinics and later even proposed to her at one. He enjoys working within the Platte City community to share how improving oral hygiene can dramatically improve your health and happiness. He understands that life can be complicated and is willing to work with you to create personalized care that really makes you smile.
